Posts: 550 ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just came across an absolutely fantastic thread on The Rattle that deserves a wider audience. Some of you may have already seen it - I don't know how I originally missed it. I take the liberty to quote the first post here, but do read the whole thread as it's brilliant. "Those that get it... get it. Those that don't... don't.

Posts: 429 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm probably duplicating what other people said, I've got too short an attention span to read all those posts! Because he could have walked away when the yanks were trying to get Klinsmann, but stayed because he's got a job to do and knows he can do it. because he winds up whiskey nose at every opportunity. Because he's cracking up. Games like Istanbul, old Trafford, Real... The way he sat down like Buddha v Chelsea. That "A brazen leftie" is another anagram of his name. That fact that after a few vinos I definitely would.

Posts: 128 ![]() ![]() | we were going nowhere until rafa came along, nowhere, we've looked like potential champs league winners since 2005, even in 2006 we all had the belief we could do it again - and last season we looked like winning the title, it's only october now and the gap only 6pts (and on the same points the mancs had at this stage last season), so let's not get carried away and let's get behind the team! we can do it! BELIEVE! Edited by KingRafa 9/10/2009 22:05

Posts: 550 ![]() ![]() ![]() | I love Rafa for bringing us 114 wins in his first 200 league matches. As a comparison, Wenger managed 110 and Ferguson 87 wins in their first 200 league matches.

I was lucky if I got to witness one league win against the mancs when I was a nipper even in King Kenny's day. Guess I love Rafa for that night in Istanbul as well. I bet Rafa loves that night as well, it's given him a near infinite fan backing

Posts: 113 ![]() ![]() Location: West London | Yep. Rafa was on top form in that press conference on Friday. And just makes the people who want him gone look even more ridiculuous. He is a f**king genius. I love that he never panders and always speaks out against the utter bollocks being leveled at him. The fact that Fergie, Fat Sam and their LMA buddies try and conspire against him and use the press to take pot shots, makes him even more lovable; anyone that winds up whiskey nose has to be loved! Another top quote from the press conference: ‘I don’t know if there is any hidden agenda in Klinsmann being on Sky twice and us playing each time. Is he after my job? I really do not know. All I can be sure of is that these sort of things will still be coming out in four or five years and I still won’t be taking any notice.’ I f**king love this man and when I hear him slated it breaks my heart. I will continue to take it personally lol Btw I know reds get accused of being paranoid and believing the world is against us....but we all f**king know that Klinsmann being there twice is no f**king coincidence!

Posts: 30 ![]() | I love Rafa as he is his own man not an ass kissing idiot aka Sam Allerdyce, Redknapp, and all fergies followers also Man utd let in a goal against chelsea using zonal marking on a free kick and Andy grey spoke about if it was a free kick or not if that had been us his head would have exploded!! Also I heard a spurs fan on the radio today saying buying back Robbie Keane was a mistake no form and very poor but do the media have a go at Harry no because he is a media and fergie darling!!! Rafa has more backbone than those sheep.

Posts: 2100 ![]() ![]() Location: South East London, Merseyside. | Reasons to love Rafa? At the moment, NONE. When he remembers how to turn a losing situation around, and recalls how to motivate his players then MAYBE he'll start getting liked again. Until then, the love is kept firmly in check.
