I just came across an absolutely fantastic thread on The Rattle that deserves a wider audience. Some of you may have already seen it - I don't know how I originally missed it. I take the liberty to quote the first post here, but do read the whole thread as it's brilliant.

I love Rafa because of his wit.

Anybody remember the post-match interview after losing 2-0 to Chelsea with Reina having been sent off after some incredible theatrics by Robben? I was obviously feeling terribly disappointed when Rafa made me laugh out loud telling the interviewer:

I'm in a hurry and I must go to the hospital to see how Robben is, he could be in hospital for a week.

Does anybody know of a video clip of this? Couldn't find it on YouTube...

Reasons to love Rafa? At the moment, NONE.

When he remembers how to turn a losing situation around, and recalls how to motivate his players then MAYBE he'll start getting liked again. Until then, the love is kept firmly in check.[/QUOTE]
