History

The Liverpool FC Supporters Club (London Branch) - (LFCSC) was founded in 1967 and is run voluntarily by Liverpool Supporters for Liverpool Supporters in London and the South of England.

There is an elected committee who manage the LFCSC (London Branch) for the benefit of all the members.

The London Branch of the Liverpool Football Club Supporters’ Club is an official member of Liverpool Football Club’s ‘Association of International Branches’ (AIB).

Membership benefits & aims

The main purpose of the LFCSC (London Branch) are as follows:

1. To offer cheap transport to matches for LFCSC members living in London and the south (in recent years this has been increasingly difficult due to restrictions by Virgin Trains but following our recent AGM in October 2008, LFCSC members are once again being offered cheaper travel to games by coach)

2. To offer LFCSC members in London an opportunity to get together, both on the website and in pubs to talk “Liverpool” and watch games with other LFCSC members. This is achieved through:

• The website forums
• A list of recommended Liverpool FC Friendly pubs in London
• LFCSC social and sporting events

3. To support LFCSC (London Branch) members in getting tickets to Liverpool games.
This is achieved in the following ways:

• Applying for our allocation, as an official supporters club, of tickets to Liverpool games for LFCSC memebers - PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE MATCH TICKETS
• Enabling, through the website, a fair ticket exchange programme for LFCSC members who have tickets and who cannot travel to the game thus allowing other LFCSC members to access that ticket

In addition, LFCSC (London Branch) aims, through the website and events, to provide news about the supporters club, inform members of AGM dates and outcomes and keep members informed of our social activities (5 a-side football team, darts team, quiz nights etc)

When you join not only will you receive your membership card but you will also get full access to the Members Only area of the website. This will allow you to Book Organised Travel, Match Tickets, Ticket Exchange, Ticket & Travel Newsflash as well as a full Mobile website allowing you to keep up with LFCSC London on the go.

Please remember that the LFCSC London website is still in its infancy. The down side to this is that there may be teething problems and some features may not be complete. The up-side to this however is that if you get in early YOU can have your say on the future of both the website and the club. We are working very hard to try to get all features live as soon as possible and we aim to have ALL listed features up and running smoothly by Christmas 2008.

IMPORTANT - IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR POTENTIAL MATCH TICKETS APPLIED FOR THROUGH LFCSC London, YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR LFC FAN CARD/MEMBERS CARD DETAILS. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE MATCH TICKETS - please check the website for information about which games LFCSC London will apply for.
