On other Forums i have had 1-2 people give me grief about bumping this thread up which has upset me,.
But they can comment and bump threads of the likes of Emile Heskey etc etc,I give my due to all members on them groups they have stuck up and supported what we are doing.
To Clarify The reason WHY I bump this Auction event up is to let forum members old and new know that we have a unique Sports Memoribilia Auction, With amazing items they may want in there homes as a collectable sports item and help us raise Money for Kids/Teens Like Little Liam who are going through the brave Battle As Liam did and hopefully one day we find a cure for this Cruel Illness and there is no more pain and suffering for the people and there families

I know you get a bad apple in every barrel but i am shocked with comments in PM i have had over last 2 days

We have few new items on show including KING KENNY BLACK AND WHITE SIGNED PICTURE

Thanks for The Support u have showed through out

Although he's probably just a front for a load of shady cartels and politicians...

Being serious, my bigest fears are much the same as Pat's but we (the fans) have got to try and keep our heads up and support the team. For some reason the players can't seem to motivate themselves, we've got to try and do it for them.

They have to forget all the s**t that's going on around them and get on with each game on a individual basis from now on, and we've got to do the same thing. It is getting increasing hard though.

Re: Does everyone feel like this ??? - Red Pat posted: 11 March 2010 13:01:35

Europa lge prices at home are a joke, the reason they are begging is that they overpriced this in the first place....the model which is was based on was to abuse the huge fan base and believing that we dont have a price ceiling. The fact its 15% off all online goods for members is also a reflection of a trough in commercial support from fans.

'With Man City having unlimited funds to spend, if they were to take our spot amongst Europe's elite they will have a platform to build on and bring in even better players to bolster their squad, in a similar scenario to Chelsea after Abramovic took over. It is not tunrealistic to believe that if we lost our position in the top four wet may not get it back again for many years unless a miracle happens and a billionaire takes us over and builds the new stadium and gets the top players in.??For now I am merely speculating on what could happen, of course we still have nine games to go, as well as a Europa League there to win. So we just have to keep cheering the boys on and hoping for a miracle to get us through the storm and leave us with our heads held high by the end of the season.????? '

This is my biggest fear.

Priorities. - COCKNEY KOPITE posted: 11 March 2010 13:01:08

As the my other thread is unable to be view i will start this one. I belive that the most important thing we do is get rid of the owners. Then talk about if rafa should stay on, or who will replace him. I know that SOS are against this and a lot of fans dont agree, but we have to start boycotting games. (and i dont mean NUFC boycott, where they decide to boycott the game, yet the stadium is still half full. loool:D) Every problem is solved by looking at the roots of the problem. the root of liverpool football club is it's owners. Full Stop. i know people are saying that its not there fault how the team performs. But it is there fault for causing uncertainty in the minds of every liverpool fan. IMO Getting rid of the Yanks is the main priority.

Re: Lille away - Petersimmons80 posted: 11 March 2010 11:55:37

Anyone heading out to watch this one tonight? i mean .. new stadium ... we can't even fill this one ... :( ... what's the point ?[/QUOTE]

Not being an arse tho, and being an LFC fan, I'm happy to support my club BUT as a business the model at LFC sucks.

The management seems to rely on the fact that there is a huge following hence its acceptable to fix/set prices high for absolutely everything regardless of how much a fan may struggle. And if a not so well off fan can't afford products/services then there are many more in the line behind him/her to pay extorionate prices for tickets, travel, parking, etc etc

I guess the message is that a poorer fan is not worth anything to the club.

I hate the fact that goods are so expensive, delivery is charged (at £5 I think) for online store purchases, surcharges on card payment for tickets, overpriced food/drinks at the ground, parking issues/costs, travel (home and away).

I'd like to see the club as home, be a 'man on the stand', regular, devout, have access to my club. Not filtered. Not screwed over financially to see, what is lets face it, an appalling show.

Personally very disappointed they went out, my only preference this year in the Champions League is that Utd don't win it, Madrid would have had a chance of putting them out, Lyon don't.

"...Conventional wisdom suggests Liverpool would have their pick of the litter when it comes to a new manager. Fans, understandably, want a Mourinho, a Hiddink, a Lippi or a Capello. What, though, is the advertising pitch? “Famous old club seeks man to move in to bijou home for title tilt. All candidates must be able to win the Premier League on a pittance – but you can spend what you raise in sales! – and capable of adapting when, without warning, your bosses decide they need to pay down the debt they promised not to laden the club with at the expense of your transfer funds. Warning: goalposts may shift. Must have GSOH.”

Is that likely to tempt one of management’s A-listers? No. Aim lower. How about Roy Hodgson or Martin O’Neill, the leading domestic contenders? Possibly, but Hodgson is 63, and O’Neill would think twice about swapping one good American owner, in Randy Lerner, for Messrs Hicks and Gillett. The club has pull, yes, but the owners possess plenty of push.

Abroad, then. Unai Emery? Valencia would love that, and he’d cost a pretty penny. Liverpool don’t have two of them to rub together. Lower. Laurent Blanc? You’d have to see off Inter, if Jose leaves. Lower. Jorge Jesus (the Benfica manager, fact fans)? Domingos Paciencia, of Braga? Jurgen Klinsmann? That sort of level. Is that definitely a step up on Benitez? Even those who have grown to loathe him would hardly be convinced.

Say an ambitious young manager does take the job on. What happens on the pitch? How do they stamp their authority on the side without any money to spend (and, quite possibly, no Champions League football)? Well, you would sell off the Benitez stalwarts and the squad ballast, if possible. Dirk Kuyt, Lucas, Sotirios Kyrgiakos, Philipp Degen, Damien Plessis, Albert Riera, Ryan Babel and Diego Cavalieri would bring in around £40 million or so of spending money (possibly – at Liverpool, the gap between the cushions and the sofa tends to be quite large). Javier Mascherano may choose to make his move to Barcelona. Another £30 million, though Benitez’s putative replacement would hope to persuade him to stay. Fernando Torres and Pepe Reina? Both are settled enough to allow a new man chance, and Juve, if that is to be who tempts Benitez away, can afford neither. Retaining Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher would be vital to ensure some sense of continuity...."
